Built to keep your sleep private

No account. Nothing to sign up for, nothing tied to your identity.
No audio upload, ever. Recordings and their on-device transcription never leave your phone, at any subscription tier.
AI is opt-in and yours. If you add your own API key, only the text you choose to send goes to that provider — never audio.
Keys stay on-device. Your AI provider key is stored in the phone's secure keychain, never on our servers — we don't have servers that see it.
Not a medical device. Vichar does not diagnose, detect, or monitor any health condition.
Delete anytime. Remove a night, its audio, or the whole app's data whenever you like.

Before you start

Vichar is for curiosity and entertainment.

  • Transcripts are automatic and often wrong. Sleep talk is mumbled; treat every quote as approximate.
  • Dream readings are informed guesswork, not analysis of you. They are generated from the words alone.
  • Vichar is not a medical device and does not detect, diagnose, or monitor any sleep or health condition. If something about your sleep worries you, talk to a doctor — not an app.
  • AI can hallucinate — state things confidently that are simply not true. Read every AI reading with that in mind.
