The short version
BriteSprite does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any personal data. Everything you enter stays on your device.
What the app stores on your device
- The drinks and foods you log, with their time, amount and calories
- Your goals and settings (water and calorie goals, buddy look and name, units, report time)
- Foods you save to "My foods"
This information is kept only in the app's private storage on your phone. We have no access to it. It is not uploaded anywhere.
Accounts, ads and tracking
There is no account or sign-in. The app shows no ads and contains no analytics or tracking tools.
Notifications
If you turn on the end-of-day report, the app schedules a notification on your device. Its content is created on your phone and is not sent to us.
Motion sensor
To make your buddy lean when you tilt your phone, the app reads the device's motion sensor while the home screen is open. These readings are used instantly for the animation and are never stored or sent.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple's App Store or Google Play and processed through RevenueCat to confirm your subscription status. We do not receive your payment details. See Apple's, Google's and RevenueCat's privacy policies for how they handle purchase information.
Deleting your data
Open Settings → Delete all data to remove everything the app has stored. Deleting the app also removes all of its data.
Children
BriteSprite is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
